It's no secret that this is my favourite noodle place. I would recommend the 京都炸醬麵 as well but the portions are pretty pathetic. I felt like a kid eating it because the bowl was small and made of melamine. But I haven't found an item that sucks. Well, probably the kailan actually. Because I feel that they overcook it such that the leafy parts are kinda soggy and soft. I love the stems part though!
All right, so what new information do I have? I took their name card recently so yeah.
Opening hours: 12-12.30am (OMG didn't know they close so late!)
Address: 51 Parkes Street, Ground Floor (previously mentioned)
Telephone number: 2736 5561 (no idea why you would want to call them though!)
Website: www.makmankee.com (keep your earphones volume down! the fire crackers are DEAFENING! and i didn't even wear my ear phones)
Mak Man Kee is also awarded the Caring Company Logo from 2007-2010. I don't know what is the significance of this award but I'm guessing it's pretty awesome, tying up with social services and whatnot. No wonder this place gives me good vibes, lol.
