Soya beancurd (豆腐花) has never been my dessert of choice. I very much prefer a soya bean drink (豆漿) to the beancurd. Nonetheless, I thought the soya beancurd tastes great and has a certain rough texture. It's very different from the soya beancurds in my memory (I seldom eat it, remember?) and I liked it a lot. I'm guessing the slightly rough texture means that the beans are not too finely ground which probably means the usual machines are not used. Thumbs up for a cheap dessert!
Yay or Nay? Yay
But? Not as popular as the usual dessert suspects
To try? Soya anything!

Nearest MTR? Yau Ma Tei Exit A1, it's quite a distance but just look for Dundas Street (intersecting at about 577 Nathan Road), turn into Dundas Street and continue walking till you see the intersection with Portland Street)
